I've been using Opera for a while (10 years).
Curious - which features did Opera bring to the market? What was unique?
I for one know it just 'worked' the way I needed. It truly was a web browser's Browser :)

After the Opera Beta browser update, a lot of TuneIn Radio stations are not working. It never used to happen before the update. Instead, I am getting nothing but paused messages for a good majority of them. Is there another browser that I can use instead to make them play again?
AVG says it doesn't support Opera. What antivirus SW is compatible???

recently I had to reinstall the opera (43) due to system reinstall, and I got sort of issue related to redirect in opera, particularly I search in googl the term "how to add bookmarks to pdf", it open first and then it redirect to the page by the following link "http://search3.ozipcompression.com/search/web?fcoid=417&q=how+to+add+bookmarks+to+pdf" , how to fix this issue? I do not really want to reinstall opera ...

I find that red grid-like/fishnet looking background image used in Opera Mini to be so alluring. Can someone please post the original image file?
One of customers reported a problem using our WebRTC gateway with Opera a few weeks back which we tracked down to Opera offering H264 when it couldn't decode it, so I raised a bug with Opera (and banned H264 when the browser is Opera using a horrible user agent regex because there appears to be no other way to identify it, though this means the customer has to have extra computing power to transcode).
My problem is there appears to be no way to track that bug. The email I got said they can't reply to questions through the bug tracking system, and I can't see any status, I just have the email. Going forwards I really need to be able to know what happens with that bug, and if it's even likely to be fixed. It's a pretty major bug for us as it cuts the number of calls our customers servers can handle by 80%, and because we have to ban the codec if we don't know when it's fixed that will carry on after it is; I'm hoping it is because without H264 the WebRTC spec isn't being complied with even if the current buggy SDP behaviour is fixed.
Is there any way for me to track it? Do I get notifications on updates to the bug (if yes then presumably it hasn't been looked at in 3 weeks, yay).

I recently broke up with my ex but find myself stalking his Twitter because he's been posting lies about me; he's doing it to hurt me and/or reel me back into our toxic relationship. At this point, I'd like to completely block his Twitter profile from my computer because it's causing me stress. I am not on Twitter; is there any way I can block his URL if I don't have an account? I am always impressed how streamlined Opera 12's Bookmark Manager was. So efficient, unencumbered. Fast and swift. Firefox is a nightmare. Chrome is so faint I can hardly read it with their narrow, lightened font on a bleached white background. With Opera you can control everything. I can copy and paste from there.
Now what I'm looking for is a stand alone program that integrates well with Firefox and Chrome and the older Opera (12).

Is there a way in Opera (or any other modern browser) to let the browser offer the web page's actual file name as the file name in the "Save" dialog? In other words, I don't want the browser to use the page's title tags to name the file, but the actual file name itself.
So if the URL is http://foo.bar/hello1.html, I want to save it as "hello1.html" on my computer, and not as e.g. "Welcome to my homepage!!!.html".
I realise that this sort of thing would require intelligent flexibility, e.g. when saving PHP files or when saving identical named files in little subdirectories. But when saving a series of pages that all use the exact same title tags (caused by lazy SEO), such a feature would be a life-saver.
So, can it be done?

Today in a OperaPortable install from PortableApps I've seen this screen.
The installation isn't fresh but didn't seen it in my other Opera versions, (maybe I made a new profile and didn't remember).
Are you seen it in a no fresh profile?

Strenge that opera mobile and opera desktop can not sychronise password while chrome can do that job excelent. You can not synchronise opera mobile with your standard webbrowser, is there anyone who knows a solution?

I just wanted to say that, the new design looks nice. Especially 'Download' button are made slick. The only thing, I can point out, is the VPN. The text should be more clear to read, even without glasses.

There was this term - "VIDEO games". But what does "video" exactly mean? That you can see it? Sure you can! I can think of very few games that don't require any visual. ;)
By the above I mean that it's perfectly on topic to discuss some other electronic games - like on separate "gaming" devices or such.
But let's just focus on those playable online - in browsers.

Myself, having started with a USB modem (PC, not counting yonder cellphone browsing), have changed three providers since.
They say, worldwise Internet might be rather expensive, and I did see the prices-packages which kinda "inspired" me to stay in Russia for now: according to the data, the RF provides the cheapest Internet in the whole World, and it shocks me how much some people abroad pay whilst their packages provide only limited amount of data - instead of what people tend to be having here in Russia.
It is NORM to acquire an unlimited package plan here - on a wire (optic), while paying less than like 30 dollars a month...
What are your prices? Are they disappointing there?
Well, I pay less than $10/month with normal speed of 20Mb/s. I know some here shared stuff and mentioned having limits, least they're deprived of speed after some amount consumed. Which is awful! We don't usually experience limits if connected via fibre-optics here. I don't know if other, less advanced types of cable are still around though and how it goes that way, if it's there; I could guess if any, the only restriction might be the top speed, right?
So, having some trouble recent month, perhaps some hardware regionwise like that, the things seem to have come to normal. I hope so...
My ISP informed me I've got the 20/20 package. Which is sufficient having only a single device connected; though I signed having in mind to possibly extend to two or three (tops), measuring the speed limits considering the ceiling when using a certain videohosting service, which used to top at about 8Mb/s download-wise.
Now I just measured my connection with this Speedtest.net, the down speed is as promised, but the up one is much higher - it actually routed through one of my previous ISP's servers, which might or might not be thought of considering funny: my treaty with this provider is kept viable with even the cable having not been disconnected - aside from my current Internet service, I'm also paying a small monthly fee to keep that other one on hold, just in case.
